Kern Aarau "Alpatir"

Das Spektiv-Modell "Alpatir" von Kern gab es mit 45facher Vergrößerung (ggf. sogar 55x) oder einem zusätzlichen 28x Austauschokular. Letztere Variante ist hier abgebildet. Das Aluminiumgehäuse ist schwarz lackiert bzw. mit Kunstleder ummantelt. Das dosenförmige Prismengehäuse beinhaltet ein ein Porro-I-Prismensystem. Das Spektiv lässt sich ab 12m fokussieren. Das Okular hat einen Dioptrienausgleich ohne Skala. Für die Anbringung an Stativen hat das Alpatir eine Klemmvorrichtung (s. Foto), ähnlich dem Hensoldt 40x60 oder dem Seibert 40x. Wie das genannte Seibert 40x Spektiv, hat das Alpatir Kimme und Korn. passend dazu gabe es ein Lederfutteral. Der Deckel trägt den Firmennamen, die Modellbezeichnung, die Seriennummer "49527", sowie darunter eine stilisierte Armbrust als Zeichen der schweizer Herkunft, und die Buchstaben "AR" für "Anti-Reflex-Beschichtung".

The Alpatir spotting scope by Kern was available with a 45x magnification (even 55x alternatively) or an extra ocular with 28x magnification. The latter is depicted here. The aluminium hoiusing is painted black or covered with a black synthetic leather. The can-shaped prism housing contains a porro 1 system. The spottiung scope focusses from 12m onwards. The ocular has a dioptre adjustment but no scale. There is a tripod clamp at the bottom (s. pic) similar to the ones of the Hensoldt 40x60 oder the Seibert 40x. It also has notch and bead sights just like the Seibert 40x. A matching leather case came with the scope. The cover plate is inscribed with the maker's name, the model name, serial number "49527", and below a crossbow logo denoting its origin from Switzerland, and followed by letters !AR" meaning "anti reflection coating".

Die Austrittspupille liegt bei 2,3mm und das Sehfeld ca. 31m/1000m. Die vergütete Objektivlinse ist 65mm im Durchmesser und liegt als Blendschutz um ca. 3,5cm im Tubus zurückgesetzt. Das Spektiv wiegt 1733g ohne Stativ. Es ist 47-50cm lang, dabei ist der konische Tubus 29cm, der gerade Objektivtubus 65mm und das Prismengehäuse 5cm lang. Der Tubus verbreitert sich vin 40 auf 85mm, das Gehäuse ist ca. 60mm, das Okularstück 23mm und der Fokussierungsring 29mm im Durchmesser. Die Kunststoffaugenmuschel ist 33mm breit.

The exit pupil is 2.3mm and the f.o.v. is 31m/1000m. The coated objective lens is 65mm in diameter. It is recessed by 3.5cm into the tube in order to build a ray shade. The spotting scope weighs 1733g without its tripod. It measures 47-50cm in length. The conical tube is 29cm, the straight end 65mm, and the prism housing 5cm long. The tube increases from 40 to 85mm in diameter. The housing is 60mm, the ocualr tube 23mm, the focusiing ring 29mm in diameter. The plastic eyecup measures 33mm.
