Hensoldt Dialyt 40x60

Das Dialyt 40x60 ist ein monokulares Spektiv oder Fernrohr von Hensoldt, das erstmals nach dem 2. Weltkrieg herauskam bzw. in den Jahren 1946-1964 gefertigt wurde. Mit der Seriennmmer 20384 stammt es vermutlich aus dem Jahr 1946, oder ggf. 1948, da es eine vertikale Riffelung des Fokussierungsrings (|||) hat, die es ca. ab 1948 gab. Der Tubus ist mit Kunstleder ummantelt und aus schwarz lackiertem Aluminium. Wie bei den anderen Dialyt-Monokularen ist an das ca. 9cm lange Prismengehäuse ein konischer Tubus angeschraubt. Beim 40x60 folgt dann noch eine gewölbter Zwischenring mit beweglicher Rauhlack lackierter Stativhalterung und Kimme sowie ein gerader Objektivubus mit Korn. Das Okular hat einen Dioptreinausgleich von +/- 5 und eine Bakelitaugenmuschel. Die Linsen sind blau vergütet.

The Dialyt 40x60 is a monocular spotting scope or telescope which first was issued after WW II. and was produced between 1946 until 1964. The serial number 20384 hints to a production year of 1946 but maybe 1948, because the focusing ring comes with a vertical knurling (|||) taht was introduced only from 1948 onwards. The tube has a fake leather covering and is made of black painted aluminium. As with the other Dialyts a conical tube is attached to the 9cm long prism housing. Attached to the conical tube of the 40x60 is a intermediate ring with a swivel tripod holder lacquered with crinkle paint, followed by a straight objective tube. The Dialyt has a notch and bead sight. The eyepiece has a dioptre scale of +/- 5 and a Bakelite eyecup. The lenses are coated blue.

Das Dialyt ist ca. 57cm lang, der Objketivtubus außen 67mm breit. Das Prismengehäuse ist ca. 45mm im Durchmesser, die Augenmuschel 35mm. Das Spektiv wiegt 1382g. Sehfeld: ca. 90m/1000m; Lichtstärke: 2,2; Austrittspupille: 1,5mm. Vgl. a. Hensoldt/Zeiss-Prospekte.

Nach dem Wegfall der "Hensoldt"-Marke 1964 für zivile Gläser wurde das Dialyt 40x60 als Zeiss Dialyt 40x60 herausgebracht. In einem Einzelmodell-Prospketblatt von 1970 taucht es wieder mit Firmennamen Hensoldt auf der Seite auf, wobei es möglicherweise bei Hensoldt (Zeiss-Gruppe) gefertigt wurde, aber weiter als Zeiss-Modell beschriftet war.

After discontinuing teh "HJensoldt" trademark for civilian glasses in 1964, the Dialyt 40x60 was still produced as a Zeiss Dialyt 40x60. In a single model brochure from 1970 the 40x60 is shown again with the Hensoldt name on the pages. Yet this may only mean that it was made in the Hensoldt works (ZEiss group) but still labeled "Zeiss".
