Huet 10x 16x 24x 50mm

Dieses Huet Teleskop hat einen 3er-Okularrevolver und ebenfalls wie das Belvelux eine Elfenbein-farbigen Lackierung (s. a. "Rivalux"). Es dürfte ebenfalls aus den 1950er -60er Jahren stammen. Die Stativmontierung hat eine Feinjustierung für die horizontale Drehung und eine Gabelhalterung aus Drahtverstrebungen. Da das Teleskop aus schwerem Messingteilen ist - 3650g -, ist zu fragen, warum die leicht verbiegbaren Tragstreben als Konstruktion gewählt wurden. Am Hauptubus befindet sich vorn eine recht lange abgeschrägte Sonnenblende und hinten ein Porro-1-Prismengehäuse. An letzterem ist schräg der Okularrevolver mit 3 Okularstücken montiert. Die Okulare sind shcwarz lakciert und haben Metallaugenmuschel sowie Dioptrienskalen. Die Optik ist zumindestens teilweise vergütet. Der Gesamteindruck lässt auf eine Verwendung als Aussichtsfernrohr oder als Beobachtungsfernrohr auf Schiffen schliessen.

This Huet telescope has a triple ocular revolver and is also painted in an ivory colour like the Belvelux (also see "Rivalux"). It may also date from the 1950-60s. The tripod mount has a fine adjustment for the horizontal movement. The fork mount has cross beam wires. As the telescope is mostly made of heavy brass - weighing 3650g -, it is questionable why these thin bendable wires were chosen for the construction. The main tubes has a sloping, rather long sunshade at its front and a porro 1 prism body at it back. The turret is atttached diagonally to the latter. There are three eyepieces. They are lacquered black and have metal eyecups with dioptre scales. The opitcs are partly coated. The overall impression hints to a use as a look-out telescope or one used on board of ships for observation.

Das Belvelux ist je nach Okularstellung 40-44cm lang. Der Okularrevolver hat einen Durchmesser von 102mm, der Tubus von 78mm. Die Stativgabel ist 88mm breit. Das 20x Okular misst 35mm, der Fokussierungsring 41mm und die Augenmuschel 34mm im Durchmesser; das 40x Okular misst entsprechend 27mm, 35mm und 34mm.

The Belvelux is 40-44cm long depending on the eyepiece used. The eyepice revovler has a diameter of 102mm, the tube one of 78mm. The tripod fork is 88mm wide. The 20x eyepiece measures 35mm, the focusing ring 41mm, and the eyecup is 34mm in diameter; the 40x eyepiece measures 27mm, 35mm, and 34mm correspondiongly.
