3. Abbe-König-Prismen Monokulare nach 1945

Nachdem bei Hensoldt Wetzlar (Zeiss-Gruppe) die Produktion ziviler Gläser und Dialyt-Monokulare Anfang der 60er Jahre eingestellt wurde, brachte Zeiss Oberkochen Mitte der 60er das 8x30B-Fotomonokular als "Dialyt", also mit Abbe-König-Dachkantprisma und gerader Bauform auf den Markt. Auch hier konnte mit Vorsatzlinsen die Nahdistanz auf unter 1m verkürzt werden.
1990 erschien das Zeiss Dialyt 8x56 B T* in der gewohnten Hensoldt-Dialytform, allerdings mit Gummiarmierung.

3. Abbe-Koenig Prism Monoculars after 1945

After Hensoldt Wetzlar (Zeiss Group) stopped making civilian glasses, and hence also Dialyts, at the beginning of the 60s, Zeiss Oberkochen itself issued the 8x30B Photo-Monocular in a "Dialyt" design, i.e. with a Abbe-Koenig roof-top prism and straight housings. Near focus was under 1 meter when the 8x30B was used with slip-on lenses.
In 1990 the "Zeiss Dialyt 8x56 B T*" with rubber armouring was made in the classical Hensoldt-Dialyt shape.

4. Leman-Prismen Monokulare nach 1945

Das einzige mir bekannt Monokular mit Leman-Prisma nach dem 2. Weltkrieg, vermutlich 50er oder 60er Jahre, ist das "Monoclair" aus Framkreich. Es ist ebenfalls schachtelartig mit einer roten Kusntlederummantelung und goldenen Metallteilen. Es war wohl als Opernglas für die Damen-Handtasche gedacht. Nach Betätigen eines Druckknopfes springt ein Griff mit Trageschlaufe hervor, der gleichzeitg die beiden Linsen an den kurzen Seiten freigibt. Das Fokussierungsrad ist so angeordnet, dass eine Einhandbedienung möglich ist.

Leman Prism Monoculars after 1945

The only known Leman prism monocular after 1945 - probably form the 50s or 60s of last century - is the "Monoclair" made in France. Again, this scope has a box shape with red synthetic leather coverings and gilded metal parts. It was intented as a opera glass for the Lady's handbag. After pushing a button a grip with a carrying strap jumps out and opens the lenses at the shorter ends. The focuisng wheel is positioned in a way so that a one-handed use is possible.

5. Uppendahl Prisma

Als außergewöhnlich Besonderheit darf das Leitz Trinovid 10x40 Monokular gelten, das speziell für die NASA in sehr geringen Stückzahlen Ende der 60er Jahre gefertigt wurde. Es hat das komplette Fokussierungssystem mit Innenfokussierung des Binokulars behalten und hat wie das binokulare Fernglas ein Uppdendahl-Prisma. Damit ist es das Einzige mit diesem Prismensystem.

5. Uppendahl Prism

The Leitz Trinovid 10x40 monocular was made for the NASA only in a few pieces at the end of the 60s. So this can be reckoned as a very speciality, not only as it comes with the complete inline focusing system, but also as it has the Uppendahl prism system of the Tinovid binoculars. Thus it is the only monocular with such a prism.
