Stereo prism Binocular Power=6

Similar to the "Military Stereo 6x30" one can assume that this monocular was either a half of a binocular or made as such due to lack of material during war times. There are no signs of a sawn off bridge. The top cover plate is marked "Stereo Prism Binocular Power=6", so that at least a cover plate from a binocular was used. The shape of the cover with a strap lug slot protruding from the plate was used by makers like Ross and Barr & Stroud, hinting a production by one of them. The top and bottom covers are marked with the "broad arrow" as military designation. So is the hard rubber covering of the body marked with a thick yellow "broad arrow".
The glass is a 6x24 monocular made of brass and dating from WWI period. The eyecup of the left-hand sided ocular is made of dark brwon Bakelite.
Being 274g the monocular is quite heavy, whereas its length of 104-110 mm is still compact. The housing measures c. 50x50 and 55x55mm. The ocular diameter is 24mm, the one of the eyecup 33mm, and the objective frame is 31mm in diameter.
