Schütz Kassel "Soclar" 8x56

Dieses Nachkriegsmodell "Soclar" 8x56 hat ein Porro-2-Prismensystem (vgl. Soclar 20x56) mit blau vergüteter Optik. Die Deckel, Objektivfassung sowie das Okular ist schwarz lackiert. Das Gehäuse und der konische Tubus sind mit dunkelbraunen Kunstleder ummantelt. Am Gehäuse befindet sich eine Trageöse und ein Stativgewinde. Das rechtsseitige Okular hat eine Dioptrienskala von +/-5 und eine Kunststoffaugenmuschel. Der obere Deckel ist mit dem Schütz-Logo und den Modellangaben beschriftet. Eine Seriennummer gibt es nicht.

This post-war "Soclar" 8x56 has a Porro II prism system (cf. Soclar 20x56) with blue coated optics. The covers, the objective frame and the eyepiece are lacquered black. The housing and the conical tube are coveed with leatherette. There is a strap lug and a tripod thread on the housing. The right-hand sided eyepiece has a dioptre adjustment ranging from + to - 5, and a plastic eyecup. The top cover plate is marked with the Schuetz logo and the model data. There is no serial number.

Das Soclar ist zwischen 183 und 190mm lang. Das elliptisch oder nierenförmige Gehäuse ist oben 56x52mm und unten 60x50mm breit und 67mm hoch. Der 81mm lange konische Objektivtubus verbreitert sich von 45mm auf 68mm. Das Okular ist 25mm, der Fokussierungsring 32,5mm und die Augenmuschel 31,5mm im Durchmesser. Das Monokular wiegt 351g.
