Spindler & Hoyer 5x20 "Gofünf"

Spindler & Hoyer vertrieb (vermutlich ab den 1920er Jahren) sein 5x20 Monokular auch mit einer Vorsatzlinse (5x Lupe), so dass es als Fernrohrlupe mit 25facher Vergrößerung genutzt werden konnte. Dazu gabe es ein schweres Hufeisenstativ mit einer kippbaren Haltestange und einem festschraubbarem Trägerarm für das Monokular. Dieses wurde in einem der Form angepassten Metallklammer mit Scharnier gesetzt und die Klammer festgeschraubt. Es wurde, wie viele S&H Optiken auch durch ander Geschäfte vertrieben, z.B. J. Rodenstock in München (s. Prospektausschnitt).

Assumingly since the 1920s, Spindler & Hoyer also issued its 5x20 Monocular with a slip-on lens (5x close-up magnifier) so that it could be used as monocular magnifier with a 25x power. It came with a heavy horseshoe stand with a tiltable mounting rod and a attachment arm for the monocular. This was clamped into a metal hinged band following the shape of the monocular's body. The clamp has a screw to fix and secure the monocular in the clamp. Like many other optical products by S&H it was distributed through other shops as well, for instance J. rodenstock in Munich (see catalogue clip).

Die Vorsatzlinse mit einem Durchmesser der FAssung von 26,5mm wiegt 24g, das 15cm hohe Stativ 492g. Der hufeisenfuß ist ca. 75x95mm breit.
