Optiker Ruhnke 8x30

Dieses Optiker Ruhnke Monokular mit Werten 8x30 zeigt zwar einen leichten violetten Schimmer der Glasflächen aus, ob diese jedoch vergütet sind ist unklar. Die Bauweise scheint eher eine Produktion zwischen 1920 und 1940 zu sein. Wie beim anderen Ruhnke 8x30 ist das Aluminiumgehäuse mit einem strukturiertem Hartkunststoff ummantelt, hat eine eingegossene Trageriemenöse und einfach verschraubten Deckel. Diese und die Okularhülse sowie Objektivfassung sind schwarz lackiert. Die 2/3 Augenmuschel ist aus schwarzem Plastik. Es gibt eine umlaufende Dioptrienskala an einem abgeschrägten Ring, lediglich markiert mit 0 und plus bzw. minus gekennzeichnet. Der obere Deckel ist mit "Optiker Ruhnke" bogenförmig um die Initialen OR sowie mittig mit "8x30" beschriftet. Das Okularstück wird am Deckel mit einem schmalen Schraubring gehalten sowie mit einer kleinen Schraube seitlich am Deckelrand fixiert. Die Objektivfassung ist leicht trichterförmig.

This Optiker Ruhnke 8x30 monocular does show a slight violet shimmer on the glass surfaces, but whether these are coated is unclear. The design appears to be from between 1920 and 1940. Like the other Ruhnke 8x30, the aluminum housing is covered with a textured hard rubber, has a cast-in strap lug, and a cover with just one screw. This, along with the eyepiece sleeve and lens mount, are painted black. The 2/3 eyecup is made of black plastic. There is a circumferential diopter scale on a beveled ring, marked simply with zero and plus or minus. The upper lid is inscribed with "Optiker Ruhnke" curved around the initials OR, and "8x30" in the center. The eyepiece is held to the cover with a narrow screw ring and secured on the cover rim side with a small screw. The lens mount is slightly funnel-shaped.
