| Ross stellte ein 20x60 Spektiv her, wie es es in den USA militärisch (M49) und zivil (Argus) gab. Das Gehäuse war komplett matt-schwarz lackiert. Es hatte vergütete Optiken und ein Porro-1-Prismensystem. Der obere Deckel ist mit "PRISMATIC SPOTTINGSCOPE MADE IN ENGLAND" und dem Ross-Logo beschriftet; die Seriennummer ist No 4528. Eine andere Kennzeichnung hat der Vorgänger ab den 1950ern, das "Ross Parker-Bale Bisley 20" Spektiv (s.u.). Das Schützen- und Beobachtungsspektiv konnte auf einem Kleinstativ mit einem Gummiband geschnallt werden (s. It came with coated optics and a porro 1 system. The top cover is marked "PRISMATIC SPOTTINGSCOPE MADE IN ENGLAND" and the Ross logo; the serial number is No 4528. Another inscription is found on its forerunner, the "Ross Parker-Bale Bisley 20" spotter (see below). Das Prismengehäuse ist oben 69x71mm breit und an der weitesten Stelle 79mm breit.
