W. Rabe in Rathenow fertigte oder vertrieb unter dem Markennamen "Weera" (Lautung der Intialbuchstaben W. R.) optische Instrumente, darunter einige Prismeferngläser (vgl. Vertrieb von Busch Gläsern [s. Katalog] --> Busch 20x46. Dies 6x30 Monokular ist ein Porro-1-Modell mit schwarzer Lackierung der Aluminiumteile und einem Hartgummiüberzug. Die Augenmuschel ist aus Kunststoff. Die Dioptrienskala ist von +4 bis -4 markiert. Auffällig ist der dickere Okularhülsenansatz. Die Optik ist unvergütet. Das Monokular stammt aus der Zeit zwischen den beiden Weltkriegen.

Some of them were prism glasses (cf. distribution of Busch optics [s. catalogue] --> Busch 20x46. This 6x30 monocular is a porro 1 model with black lacquered aluminium parts objective tube and an Ebonite covering. The eyecup is made of plastic. The dioptre scale ranges from -4 to +4. The eyepiece sets off with a wider tube ring. The optics are uncoated. The monocular dates from between the two World Wars.
