Mayflower 6x15
| Ein Monokular in der Bauform, dessen Gehäuseverlauf dem Porro-1-Prismen Umriss folgt, ist das Mayflower 6x15. (vgl. Tasco, Nikon Mikron). Es wurde in Japan (von der Tochihara Optical Co., Ltd., Tokyo) für die Colonial Optical Co. in Inglewood, CA. hergestellt. Die dachförmigen Deckel aus gebürstetem Alu sind mit zwei Schrauben an dem schwarz lackierten Rahmen angeschraubt. Der obere Decekl ist mit „Mayflower“ im Logo darunter „Coated Lens“ und „6x15 field 7.5° JB-231 JAPAN“ beschriftet. Am Rahmen ist ein Trageband befestigt, und es klebt ein silberner Kontrollaufkleber des JTII. Das linksseitige Okular hat eine Dioptrieneinteilung mit Markierung für Null, Plus und Minus. Die Augenmuschel ist aus schwarzem Plastik – ebenso der Abschlussring des Objektivs, welcher mit der Seriennummer 7298 gekennzeichnet ist. | A monocular in the design of which the housing follows the porro 1 prism outlines is the Mayflower 6x15. There is a silvery control sticker of the JTII. The left-hand sided eyepiece has a dioptre division only marked zero, plus and minus. The eyecup is made of black plastic – so is the objective end ring, which bears he serial number 7298. |
