LOMZ 6x30
| Das 6x30 Porro-1-Monokular hat ein Firmenlogo mit Hammer und Sichel sowie darüber einem fünfzackigem Stern und darunter eine Achromat-Linse auf dem oberen Gehäusedeckel. Damit ist es, auch ohne weitere Beschriftung, der Leningrader Optisch-Mechanischen Werke (Leningrad Optiko-Mekhanicheskii Zavod = LOMZ) und dem Produktionszeitraum 1930-35 zuzuordnen. (vgl. GOMZ 6x30) Entsprechend ist die Optik noch unvergütet. Das Monokular hat schwarz lackierte Messingdeckel und -teile und einen dunkelbraunen strukturierten Vulkanitüberzug. Am Gehäuse ist eine Trageriemenöse eingegosen. Die Bakelit-Augenmuschel hat einen Messingschraubring innen. Die umlaufende Dioptrienskala ist bei + 5, 0, -5 gekennzeichnet. Die Objektivlinse ist mit ihrer Fassung in eine weitere Hülse gesteckt, die wiederum lediglich in das Gehäuse gesteckt wird. Gehalten wird das System durch eine am Deckel aufgeschraubte Messinghülse. Dadurch lässt sich die Objektivlinse relativ einfach entfernen und säubern. | The 6x30 Porro 1 monocular bears a company logo with a hammer and sickle as well as a five-poitned star aboe and a achromat lens below on the top cover. Although there are no other markings, hence it was made by "Leningrad Optical-mechancical Works" (Leningrad Optiko-Mekhanicheskii Zavod = LOMZ) and dates from the production period between 1930-35. (cf. GOMZ 6x30) So, the optics are still uncoated. The monocular has black lacquered brass cover plates or parts and a dark brown textured Eboniote covering. There is a cast-in strap lug on the body. The Bakelite eyecup has an inner brass threaded ring. The full dioptre scale is is marked at + 5, 0, -5. The objective lens with its frame is slipped into another tube which again is jsut pushed into the hosuing. The obejctive system is fixed on a cover thread with a brass retainer tube. Thus, the objective lens can be removed and cleaned quite easily. |

Die Objektivfassung ist 39mm, das linksseitige Okular 25mm, der Fokussierungsteil 29mm und die Augenmuschel 34mm im Durchmesser. | The 6x30 weighs 346g. It is between 113 and 118mm long depending on focusing. The housing measures 51x51mm at its top, and 59x59mm at its bottom. The objective frame is 39mm, the left-hand sided eyepiece is 25mm, the focusing piece 29mm, and the eyecup 34mm in diameter. |
