Leitz "Monol" 6x24 (~1927-39)

Das Leitz 6x24 Modell "Monol" ist eine unvergütete Version aus den Produktionsjahren von ca. 1927 bis 1939. Im Gegenatz zum früheren Monol(i) hat es nun Aluminimdeckel, oben und unten jeweils mit 2 Schrauben. Es ist am oberen Deckel mit dem Leitz-Logo, darüber mit dem Modellnamen, darunter mit "6x24" unter der Seriennummer 137953 beschriftet. Es wurde mit einem haselnuss-braunen Lederköcher geliefert. Das Gehäuse hat eine eingegossene Trageriemenöse und eine strukturiertem Hartgummiummantelung, die freien Alu-Teile sidn schwarz lackiert. Die Augenmuschel am rechtsseitigen Okular fehlt beim vorliegenden Exemplar. Die u mlaufende Dioptrienskala ist bei 0 und jeweils +/-5 beschriftet.

The Leitz 6x24 "Monol" model is an uncoated version from the production years between approximately 1927 to 1939. In contrast to the earlier Monol(i), it now has aluminum cover plates, secured with two screws at the top and bottom. It is inscribed with the Leitz logo on the top coverr, the model name above it, and "6x24" below it, with the serial number 137953. It was supplied with a hazelnut-brown leather case. The housing has a cast-in strap lug and a textured hard rubber coverign; the aluminum parts are painted black. The eyecup on the right-hand side eyepiece is missing on this example. The circumferential diopter scale is labeled at 0 and +/-5.

Das Monol ist ohne die Augenmuschel 90-100mm lang, das Gehäuse ist oben 49x49mm und unten 50x51mm breit. Das Okularstück ist 26mm und das Fokussierungsstück ist 32mm im Durchmesser. Der Objektivtubus ist 33mm im Durchmesser. Das Monokular wiegt 176g.
