BBT Krauss 6x32

Das 6x32 Prismen-Monokular der Fa. BBT Krauss aus Paris (BBT = Barbier Benard & Turenne) ist aus Aluminium gefertigt, hat schwarz lackierte Deckel und eine Rauhlackummantelung. Das Okularstück gleicht dem des BBT Krauss 8x32. Der obere Deckel ist mit dem BBT-Krauss-Logo sowie "6x32" beschriftet. Ein Besitzer hat seinen Namen "Henning" über dem Logo eingeritzt.

This 6x32 prism monocular by BBT Krauss, Paris (BBT = Barbier Benard & Turenne) is made of aluminium, has balck lacquered covers and a rough paint armouring. The eyepiece is the same design as the one of the BBT Krauss 8x32. The top cover is marked with the BBT Krauss logo and "6x32". Once the owner "Henning" scratched his name into the top cover above the logo.

Das 6x32 wiegt 244g, 11,6 - 12,2 cm lang und 51x51mm oben bzw. 51x55mm unten am Gehäuse breit. Der Okulartubus ist 37mm im Durchmesser. Aufgrund der nicht vergüteten Optik lässt sich das Glas als Vorkriegsmodell datieren.

The 6x32 weighs 244g, is 11.6-12.2 cm in length and 51x51mm at the top of the body or 51x55mm at the bottom of the body wide. The objective tube's diameter is 37mm. Due to the non-ocated optics the glass can be dated as apre-war monocular.
