BBT Krauss 16x50

Das BBT Krauss 16x50 ist magenta vergütet und hat die Baumerkmale eines Porro-1-Monokulars mit längerem Objektivtubus. Die schwarz lakcierten Deckel sind einfach verschraubt. Die Augenmuschel am linksseitigen Okular ist aus Plastik, die Dioptrienskala geht von + bis - 5. Am Gehäuses ist an den Füßen, die einen Fernglasbrückenansatz bildeten, eine Schwalbenschanzmontierung. Diese dient der Befestigung auf einem Gewehr oder Stativ, da mit einer eingebauten Strichplatte mit Fadenkreuz und vertikalem Dopplestrich oben anvisiert werden kann. Möglicherweise dient das Glas zur Scheibenkontrolle bei Sportschützen (vgl. a. Fournier 7x50). Die Deckelbeschriftungen sind dieser Montage entsprechend aufrecht lesbar. Am oberen Deckel steht "BBT Krauss" im Firmenlogo sowie "France", am unteren Deckel im Logo "M 312-43", darunter "16x50".

This BBT Krauss 16x50 is magenta coated, and has all the characteristics of a porro 1 monocular with alonger objective tube. The black painted cover plates have only one screw. The eyecup at the left-hand sided ocular is made of plastic – the dioptre scale ranges from + to - five. Attached to the feet that normally would be part of the binocular bridge is a dovetail mount. This mount can be used with a gun or a tripod. As there is a cross-hair reticle with a vertical double line at the upper half, the monocular serves as a aiming scope. It was probably used for target control (cf. a. Fournier 7x50). When attached with the dovetail mount the cover markings are upright. The top cover says "BBT Krauss" within the maker's logo followed by "France". The bottom cover is marked with the logo and "M 312-43", below that "16x50".

Das 16x50 ist 198-204mm lang, das Gehäuse oben 62x62mm und unten 68x68mm breit. Der 78mm lange Objektivtubus verbreitert sich von 56mm auf 65mm. Das Okularstück ist 31mm, der Fokussierungsteil 38mm und die Augenmuschel 35mm im Durchmesser. Die Schwalbenschwanzhalterung ist 30,5 x 58mm breit. Das Monokular wiegt 635g.
