| Das große Hertel & Reuss 11x80 ist im Grunde identisch mit dem CBS Beck 11x80. Beide Firmen hatten ihren Sitz in Kassel. Das Monokular wurde von H&R in den 1970ern weitergebaut, als Beck übernommen worden war. Am unteren Deckel ist das H&R mit "Made in Germany" gekennzeichnet. Die Objektivfassung hat einem aufgesteckten Gummischutz. Das Glas wiegt 50g mehr als das Beck 11x80, bis auf minimale Differenzen sind die Ausmaße identisch. Beim H&R gibt es am Okular einen Referenzstrich, der beim Beck fehlt und anstelle dessen einen Referenzpunkt oder -strich am Rand des oberen Gehäusedeckels aufweist. | This huge Hertel & Reuss 11x80 is basically identical with the CBS Beck 11x80. Both companies were located in Kassel, Germany. The monocular model was continued by H&R in the 1970s when they took over Beck. The bottom cover is marked "Made in Germany". the objective frame has a rubber protection slipped over it. The H&R weighs 50g more than the bEck, yet apart from minor differences all dimensions are the same. The H&R 11x80 has a referemce line at the eyepiece whereas the beck 11x80 has none but a reference dot or line at the rim of the top cover plate. |
