J. Davignon Opticien 8x

Da 8x (8x25) J. Davignon Monokular zeigt die gleiche Konstruktionsweise wie das Davignon 12x (s. dort). Unterschiedlich ist lediglich die Länge: 118-130mm gesamt und ein 60mm langes Gehäuse, und das Gewicht von 200g. Der Lederbehälter is am Deckel innen mit dme Vertreiber in England beschriftet: "Knight & Co. in Southsea". Der obere Deckel ist auch mit "Opticien Bte" (Optiker Patent) sowie der Vergrößerungsangabe am unteren Deckel beschriftet.

This 8x J. Davignon monocular shows the same design like the Davignon 12x (cf. there). It only differs in length: 118-130mm overall, and a 60mm long body, as well as a weight of 200g. The leatehr case is makred on the insdie of the lid with the address of the English distributor or seller: "Knight & Co. in Southsea". The top cover is also marked "Opticien Bte" (Optician Patent) as well as with its power on the bottom cover.
