Carl Zeiss Jena 8x30 Deltrintmo (DDR)

Dies ist das 8x30 Deltrintmo-Modell von Carl Zeiss Jena aus der DDR-Produktion. Das Modell mit Seriennummer 2467341 von 1951 hat eine blau-violette Vergütung und ist nur mit dem CZJ Logo gekennzeichnet, das Exemplar mit Nummer 6528979 (1987) hat eine rubinrote Vollvergütung (beim vorliegenden Modell sind allerdings die Lisnen verkratzt). Die Augenmuschel ist aus einem umstülpbaren Weichgummi.
Mit der breitkrempigen Augenmuschel ist es 11,2 - 11,8 cm lang, das Gehäuse ca. 5x5cm groß und der Objektivfassung 4cm im Durchmesser. Das Sehfeld ist 150m/1000m. Das Glas wiegt 210g.
Das Monokular wurde mit einer Ledertasche mit Reißverschluss, später mit Druckknopfverschluss geliefert.

This is the 8x30 Deltrintmo model by Carl Zeiss Jena from the GDR production times. A model with the serial number 2467341 dates from 1951 and comes with a blue-violet coating and the CZJ logo only, another specimen with the serial nubmer 6528979 (1987) is ruby-red multi-coated (the depicted specimen has scratched lenses). The eyecup is made of a foldable soft rubber material.
With this broad brimmed eye-cup it measures 11.2 - 11.8 cm. The prism housing is about 5x5 cm, and the objective frame is 4 cm in diameter. The field of view is 150m/1000m. The glass weighs 210g.
The monocular came with a leather case with a zipper, later with a a press-stud.

Ein früheres Modell mit Seriennummer 4340912 (1976) und blauer Vergütung wiegt noch 223g und ist mit dem "1Q"-Qualitätszeichen sowie "made in DDR" beschriftet. Weitere haben nur das "1Q"-Zeichen. Die frühen Exportmodelle sind mit "aus Jena" oder "Jena" anstelle des Carl-Zeis-Jena-Logos beschriftet. Ein anderes multi-coated Modell mit Nr. 5657604 von 1981 trägt alle möglichen Beschriftungen, wie "multi-caoted", das Zeiss Linsenlogo, "8x30", das 1Q Zeichen und "DDR", so dass kein paltz darunter mehr für die Seriennummer ist. diese ist rechts versetzt darutner uneben dem Okular angebracht. Das Modell mit Seriennummer 6901805 und Kennzeichnung "Made in Germany" datiert von 1989 (oder etwas später), ggf. schon zur Wendezeit. Die optischen Daten "8 x 30" sind mit Leerraum geschrieben, um bündig zum Logo darüber abzuschließen (vgl. Docter 7x50). In den 1980ern gab es auch "Jenoptem"-Modelle.

Another earlier model with S/N 4340912 (1976) and blue coating still weighs 223g and is marked with the "1Q" quality sign as well as "made in DDR". Still others just have the "1Q" sign. Some earlier export models are marked with "aus Jena" or "JENA" instead of the Zeiss lens logo. Another multi-coated model ser.nr. 5657604 from 1981 comes with all possible markings "multi-caoted", the Zeiss lens logo, "8x30", the 1Q sign as well as "DDR" which leaves no room for the serial number below these markings, but shifts the number to the rigth of the eyepiece below the ohter markings. The model with the serial number 6901805 and inscription "Made in Germany" dates from 1989 (or even a little bit later), probably during the times of German re-unification. The optical data "8 x 30" is spaced between the characters, thus being jsutified to the logo above it (vgl. Docter 7x50). In the 1980s there also were "Jenoptem" models.

Für die 6x30 und 8x30 Modelle gab es auch nach dem 2. Weltkrieg Nahlinsen als Vorsatz, um das Fernglas als Fernrohrlupe nutzen zu können. Angaben s. in dem 50er Jahre Prospekt unten.
