Dieses 6x30 Porro-1-Monokular trägt die Deckelbeschriftung "6x30 Carl Leise Wetzlar Germany". Es ist anzunehmen, dass diese Modellbezeichnung ein erfundener Firmenname ist, der an renomierte deutsche Firmen wie "CArl Zeiss" und "Leitz" aus Wetzlar erinnern soll. Allerdings gab es eine solche Firma in Wetzlar nicht, vernutlich stammt das Glas aus französishcer oder japanischer Produktion (vgl. "Carl Wetzlar"). Das Monokular ist aus Aluminium, hat eine strukturierte Hartgummiummantelung und schwarz lackierte Deckel sowie eine Plastikazugenmuschel. Das 164g schwere Monokular ist 102-112mm lang, die Augenmuschel 33mm, die Objektivfassung 35mm im Durchmesser. Das Gehäuse ist ca. 50x50mm oben und 53x53mm unten breit.

We can assume that this model name is a made-up maker's name which is supposed to give connatations to famous German makers such as Carl Zeiss and leitz in Wetzlar. There was no such maker Leise in Wetzlar, but it is probably made in France or Japan (cf. "Carl Wetzlar").
