Carl Wetzlar 8x30

Die Bezeichnung "Carl Wetzlar" wird von einem japanischen Hersteller benutzt, um ein deutsches Markenfabrikat aus Wetzlar mit Anlehnung an "Carl Zeiss" zu suggerieren. Den Hersteller kann ich nicht identifizieren, am untern Deckel des zweiten Glases ist das entsprechende Firmenemblem undeutlich zu sehen (Rautensymbol). Das Monokular ist vergütet und hat laut Beschriftung ein Sehfeld von 394ft/1000yds. Die Seriennummer des einen Exemplars ist "B 559303", des anderen "B 949055". Das zweite Glas trägt ebenfalls die Beschriftung "MARK" und "Lumeniced" auf dem Deckel. Das Carl Wetzlar-Glas hat die typische Bauweise eines Porro-I-Prismenglases. Beim ersten Modell ist das Okular rechtseitig, beim zweiten linkseitig angebracht. Es ist ca. 10cm lang.

It is marked 394ft/1000yds as f.o.v., and S/N of the two models are "B 559303" and "B 949055". The second glass is also inscribed "MARK" and "Luminced". The Carl Wetzlar glass has the design typoical of porro I prism monoculars. The first model has the ocular on the left cover side, the second one on the rigth. Its length is about 10cm.
