Busch Prisma Monocle "Terlux" 12x36,5

Ein frühes "Terlux" Monocle mit angeschraubter Trageriemenöse, 3/3 Augenmuschel und ausziehbarer Sonennblende ist das 12x36,5 Modell. Da das Monokular nirgends mit denm Vergrößerungswert beschriftet ist und Messungen eine Vergrößerung auch von 13x ergeben könnten, bleibt es ungewiss, ob dies ein 12x oder 15x Modell ist. Der Gehäusedeckel ist mit "BUSCH PRISMA-MONOCLE 'TERLUX'" beschriftet ist. Das Gehäuse besteht aus drei belederten Teilen: das obere hat einen nierenförmigen Querschnitt und beinhaltet die Prismen, der mittlere ergibt den typischen schrägen Verlauf in zwei Richtungen durch eine Art zweier ineinander gesetzter Kegelstümpfe, der untere Teil ist rund mit der Sonnenblende und fasst die Objektivlinse. Alle Teile sind durch Aluminiumringe getrennt; . Die 3/3 Augenmuschel hat an der unteren abgechrägten Seite eine Dioptrienskala mit Stricheinteilung von + bis - 4 und Beschriftungen "+ 0 -". (vgl. Busch 9x36) Das Terlux hat einen passenden LEderköcher mit Druckknopf-Verschluss mit Rathenow-Sonnen-Logo und am inneren Deckel "Josef Rodenstock München" als vertreiberbeschriftung.

ZThis is an early "Terlux" Monocle with screwed-on strap lug, 3/3 eyecup, and an extendable sunshade. It is a 12x36.5 model, although there are no markings about its power and measuring results in a magnification of about 13x. So it is not quite certain whether it iws a 12x or even 15x model. The top cover plate is marked "BUSCH PRISMA-MONOCLE 'TERLUX'". The housing consists of three leather covered parts. The top part has a kidney shaped layout and holds the prisms. The middle part typical of Terlux models shows the double inclined construction looking like two frustums set into each other. The lower part is round and holds the sunshade and the objective lens. All housing parts are separated by aluminium rings. The 3/3 eyecup has a dioptre scale ranging from + to - 4 at its sloping bottom end. The dioptre division is only inscribed with "+, -" and "0". (cf. Busch 9x36) The TErlux comes with a leather closing with a press button which is marked with the Rathenow sun sign, and inscribed with the distributor'S name "Josef Rodenstock" in Munich.

Es ist 16,7 bis 17,8cm lang - mit ausgezogener Sonnenblende 18mm länger - und der obere Deckel ist ca. 49x38mm breit, der Objektivtubus 49mm im Durchmesser und das schräge Gehäuse in der Mitte 43x48mm breit. Die Augenmuschel ist 34,5mm, der Drehring 29mm und der Okulartubus 21mm im Durchmsser.

The monocular weighs 284g. It is 16.7-17.8 cm long, adding 18mm when the sunshade is extended. The top cover plate measures 49x38mm, the objective tube is 49mm in diameter. The centre dimensions of the middle housing are 43x48mm. The eyecup is 34.5mm, the knurled part 29mm, and the ocular tube 21mm in diameter.
