| Dieses Porro-I-Prismen-Monokular stammt von der Fa. Hunsicker & Alexis aus Paris (entweder Hersteller oder Optiker als Vertreiber). Es hat die Bauweise der Huet-Gläser mit einer Geradführung des Okulars. Das Okular hat zwei geriffelte Ringe und eine umalufende Dioptrienskala zum Einstellen der Fokussierung. Das Gehäsue ist aus Aluminium mit dreifach verschraubten Messingdeckeln. Die Deckel sind schwarz lackiert, der Korpus ist lederummantelt und hat eine eingegossene Trageöse. |
^This porro I prism monocular was made or sold by Hunsicker & Alexis in Paris. Its construction resembles the Huet glasses, having a linear movement of the ocular. There are also two milled rings and a dioptre scale around the eyepiece to djust focussing. The housing is made of aluminium with three screws brass covers. The covers are painted black and the glass is covered with leather, and has a cast-in strap lug. |
| Der Durchmesser des Objektivtubus ist 43mm, des Okulars 33mm bzw. der Bakelitaugenmuschel 37mm. Das Gehäuse misst 54x54mm oben bzw. 54x58mm unten. Dies Gesamtlänge variiert zwischen 12,5 und 13,3 cm. Das Monokular wiegt 380g mit Riemen. Aufgrund der Baumerkmale dürfte es aus der Zeit vor und um den 1. Weltkrieg stammen.
Der Lederköcher ist mit "S. C. H." and "21 L." gestempelt. |
The diameter of the objective fame is 43mm, of the ocular 33mm and 37mm at the bakeltie eye-cup. The prism body is 54x54mm at its top and 54x58mm at its bottom. Overall length variies bewtween 12.5 and 13.3cm. The monocular weighs 380g with its strap. The type of construction hints at a production date before or around WWI.
