E. Zion 6x24 Monokular

The porro1 monocular made by the parisian optician Edmond Zion (also camera maker) is quite worn: the objective frame is dented, the black textured paper covering is torn, and the eyecup was replaced with a modern plastic eyecup (postwar Krauss or Auqilius type). The brass cover plates are still partly painted black, the upper one is marked "E. Zion Paris", both have three screws. The left-hand sided ocular has a dioptre scale. The body has a cast-in strap lug.

Das 6x24-Glas wiegt 288g, es ist 122-130mm lang und am Gehäuse oben 46x47mm und unten 49x51mm breit. Die Objektivfassung ist 33mm, das Okularstück 24mm, die Augenmuschel 34mm im Durchmesser.
