Zeiss (Oberkochen) 5x20B

Dieses 5x20B Modell von Zeiss Oberkochen ist eine Sonderanfertigung der damaligen Schmidt-Pechan-Dachkantprismen-Monokulare wie dem 6x20B. Die Vergrößerung wurde auf 5x reduziert und das Okular mit einer Strichplatte zur Entfernungsmessung ausgestattet. Der Nahfokus liegt etwas weiter als beim 6x20B bei 1m. Der Dioptrienausgleich ist nur mit "+ 0 - " beschriftet. Auch hier gibt es eine für Brillenträger (=B) zurückklappbare Gummiaugenmuschel und eine blau-violett vergütete Optik . Das 5x20B wiegt ohne Futteral 64g, ist 100-105mm lang und der Tubusdurchmesser beträgt 26mm. Der Tubus ist mit Kunstleder ummantelt, am oberen schwarz lackierten Tubusteil findet man den damaligen ZEISS Schriftzug und die Angaben 5x20. Darunter befindet sich der Ring mit Taschenclip.

The magnification was reduced to 5 times, and the eyepiece is equipped with a reticel fro range estiamting. The close focus is 1m, a bit more as of the 6x20B. The dioptre adjustment is only marked "+ 0 - ". There also is a foldable rubber eyecup for spectacle wearers (= B). The optics are coated blueish-violet. The 5x20B weighs 64g withput its case, it is 100-105mm long and the tube is 26mm in diameter. The tube is covered with some leatherette. On the black painted top tube part there is the contemparoray ZEISS script logo and the 5x20 data. Below is the silvery ring with the pocket clip.
