Wray Raylite 8x30

Das "Raylite 8x30" Monokular der Firma Wray aus London trägt am unteren Gehäusedeckel die Nummer 120040. Eine Datierung vor oder nach dem 2. WK ist mir derzeit nicht möglich. Das Sehfeld liegt bei ca. 153m/1000m. Das Monokular hat Aluminiumdeckel, ist schwarz lackiert und mit schwarzem Rauhlack ummantelt. Die Augenmuschel ist aus Kunststoff.

The Raylite 8x30 monocular by Wray Company, London is marked with the number 120040 at the bottom cover. An exact dating before or after WWII is not possible for me. The f.o.v. is about 153m. The monocular has got aluminium covers, it is painted black and covered with black crinkle paint. The eyecup is made of plastic.

Das Raylite wiegt 230g. Es ist 113-116mm lang je nach Okularjustierung, ca. 50x50mm breit. Der Objektivtubus ist 38,5mm im Durchmesser. Die Dioptrienskala reicht von plus 5 bis minus 5. Vgl. a. den Wray Katalog.
