Dr. Woehler Saar 8x42

Das blau-vergütete 8x42 Porro-1-Monokular wurde nach dem 2. Weltkrieg in den neuen Werken von Dr. Wöhler in Saarbrücken hergestellt. Die schwarz lackierten Deckel sind einfach verschraubt, der obere ist mit dem Wöhler Linsenlogo und "Dr. Wöhler Saar 8x42" beschrfitet. Das mit einem strukturiertem Hartgummi ummantelte kompakt wirkende Gehäuse hat außer einer eingegossenen Trageriemenöse ein Stativgewinde am unteren Rand. Die Dioptrienskala geht von + bis - 3, ist aber nur mit 0 und + und - gekenzeichnet. Die flache Augenmuschel ist aus Plastik. Die Köcherschnalle ist mit dem Herstellernamen "Eha" gekennzeichnet.

The black lacquered covers have one screw, the top cover is marked with the Wöhler lens logo and "Dr. Wöhler Saar 8x42". The comapct body is covered with textured Ebonite and besides a cast-in strap lug has a tripod thread at the lower part of the body. The dioptre scale ranges from plus to minus 3, but is only inscribed with 0, + and -. The shallow eyecup is made of plastic. The case's latch is marked with a maker's mark, i.e. "Eha".

Das Wöhler-Monokular ist 130-140mm lang. Das Gehäuse ist oben 62x62mm und unten 70x70mm breit. Die Objektivfassung ist 50mm, das Okular 34mm, der Fokussierungring 38mm und die Augenmuschel 35mm im Durchmesser. Das Glas wiegt 365g mit dem Trageriemen.
