Venus 8x40

Ein 8x40 Porro-1-Monokular, wahrscheinlich aus Japanischer Produktion. Der obere Deckel ist mit "Venus S.O.C." in Logo (liegende Linse, Seitenansicht) "8x40" und "Field 6.5° COATED" beschriftet. Der untere Deckel trägt die Numemr 26001. Das Monokular weist die übliche Charakteristika der Porro-1-Monokulare nach dem 2. Weltkrieg auf. Die Augenmuschel fehlt.
Das Monokular ist 134-140mm lang, ist am Gehäuse oben 50x50mm und unten 54x54mm breit. Das linksseitige Okular ist 29mm, der Fokussierungsteil 34mm, der Objektivtubus 41mm bis 54mm im Durchmesser. Das Glas wiegt 269g.		 Here is a 8x40 porro 1 monocular, probably from Japanese production. The top cover is marked "Venus S.O.C." in a lgoo depicting a lying lens (side view), "8x40" and "Field 6.5° COATED" . The lower cover plate has number 26001 inscribed. This monocular has the usual characteristics of a post-war porro 1 monocular. The eyecup is missing.
The monocular measures 134-410mm in length. The housing is 50x50mm wide at its top and 54x54mm at its bottom. The left-hand sided ocular is 29mm, the focusing part 34mm, the objective tube between 41mm and 54mm in diameter. The 8x40 weighs 269g.
