| Die VEB Rathenower Optische Werke (ROW) brachten in den 1960er Jahren das UNISTAR heraus, welches auch als "Galileisches Besteck" bezeichnet wurde. Es war ein optisches Multifunktionsisntrument nach Galileischen Prinzip mit blau vergüteten Linsen, das sich als Monokular (MONOSTAR), Opernglas (VISASTAR) und als Fernrohrbrille (PERISTAR) verwenden ließ. in einem Pappkarton ließen sich alle Teile unterbringen. Der Prospekt und Gebrauchsanleitung besagen, dass es den UNISTAR auch mit schwarzer oder vergolderter Brücke (Zwischenringen) und schwarzen, grünen oder hellgrauen Fernrohren gab. | The VEB Rathenower Optische Werke (ROW) issued the UNISTAR in the 1960s. It was also called "Galileisches Besteck" (= "Galilean Set of Instruments"). it was an optical multifunctional instrument with Galilean lens system and blue coating. You could you it as a monocular (MONOSTAR), an opera glass (VISASTAR), and as a telescopic spectacles (PERISTAR). All parts fit into a cardboard box. The brochure and manual shows that the UNISTAR was also available wit a black or gilded bridge (or intermediat rings) and black, green or light-grey telescope bodies. |
| Die Fernröhrchen können auf eine (verchromte) Knickbrücke gesteckt - dafür gibt es eine Nut - und mit der Metallaugenmuschel festgeschraubt werden. So hat man ein 112g schweres Opernglas. Mit einem Zierzwischenring aufgesteckt an der Nut zwischen Korpus und Augenmuschel ergibt es ein Monokular mit 2,4facher Vergrößerung und 23mm Objektivlinse. Dabei wiegt das Monostar 39g. Es ist 37mm lang und hat einen Durchmesser von 28,5mm. Die Fokussierung geschieht für alle Instrumente durch Drehen des Objektivtubus. | The small telesocpes can be mounted at a (chrome) folding bridge - there is a notch - and can be fixed by screwing on the metal eyecups.So this is a 112g opera glass. With a decorative intermediate ring slipped between the body and eyecup it is a monocular with 2.4 times power and having a 23mm objective lens. The MONOSTAR weighs 39g. It is 37mm long and has a 28.8mm diameter. Focusing is done at all instruments by turning the objective tube. |
| Auf das Brillengestell montiert ist das "Galileische Bestekc" als Fernrohrbrille nutzbar. Die Brille wiegt dann 98g.
