Uhlenflucht 8x30 Monokular

Dieses 8x30 Monokular wurde in Giessen für Robert Geller hergestellt und trägt die Hausmarken Bezeichnung "Uhlenflucht Großfeld 8x30". Darüber als Logo eine Eule mit ausgebreiteten Flügel.
Die Optische Anstalt Robert Geller war seit 1920 bis in die siebziger Jahre Vertreiber hochwertiger Ferngläser. Im Programm waren die Gläser namhafter Fernglashersteller (wie Beck, Spindler & Hoyer, Hertel und Reuss, Hartmann Wetzlar, Krombach Wetzlar).

Das Monokular ist mit strukturiertem Kunststofflack ummantelt, hat einen Dioptrienausgleich am Okular (beschriftet +5 0 -5), eine Plastikaugenmuschel und eine Öse für den Trageriemen. Die Optik ist bläulich vergütet. Der Refernzstrich zur Dioptrieneinstellung befindet sich an der Seite des oberen Deckels.

This 8x30 monocular was made for Robert Geller in Giessen, Germany and is marked "Uhlenflucht Großfeld 8x30" (which is Geller's trademark, transl. "Owl flight Wide Angle 8x30"). Above this there is a logo with an owl spreading its wings.
The "Optical Institute Rober Geller" was a distributor of first class optics since the 1920s until the 70s. The range comprised glasses of known producers (such as Beck, Spindler & Hoyer, Hertel und Reuss, Hartmann Wetzlar, Krombach Wetzlar).

The monocular has a fake leather covering, a dioptre adjustment marked with +5, 0 and -5, a plastic eye cup, and a lug for the strap. The optics are coated blue. The reference line for dioptre adjustment is at the rim of the top cover.
