Telelux 18x40

Das vorliegende Monokular "Telelux" weist Merkmale einer französischen Produktion auf, z.B. 2/3 Kunststoffaugenmuschel, die das Okularsysem in der Okularhülse hält, sowie mit anschließendem geraden Dioptrienring. Der obere Deckel ist mit "Telelux Serie W", der untere mit "18x" beschriftet. Das Logo, Modellname und die Serienbezeichnung passen möglicherweise zu Manufrance-Modellen. Als Besonderhiet hat das Monokular einen Objektiauszug, der mit zur Fokussierung dient. Da kein geringer Nahfokus erreicht wird, dient er wohl zur Längenverkürzung während des Transport bei einem Fernrohr mit recht hoher Vergrößerung und Brennweite. Die Aludeckel sind einfach verschraubt.

The "Telelux" monocular here shows some characteristics of French made modles like the 2/3 palstic eyecup holding the ocualr lens system in place, followed by a straight dioptre ring. The top cover is marked "Telelux Serie W", the bottom cover is marked "18x". The logo, the model name and the serial letter fit to some of the Manufrance models. A special feature is the extendable objective tube which serves to focus as well. As this does not acihieve a close-focus, it was more likely built to shorten the length when carried around else being a monocular of high magnification and focal length. The aluminium covers have one screw only.

Das Telelux ist 190-223mm lang und das Gehäuse ist oben 56x56mm und unten 58x58mm breit. Der 35mm lange konische Tubus verbreitert sich von 38 auf 46mm im Durchmesser, während der anschließende gerade Tubus 41mm und der daran asuziehbare 72mm lange Objektivtubus 47mm im Durchmesser ist. Das Gewicht mit Trageriemen ist 401g.

The Telelux is 190-223mm long and the housing measures 56x56mm at its top and 58x58mm at its bottom. The 35mm long concal tube isncreases from 38mm to 46mm in diameter, while the attached straight tube is 41mm and the extaendable 72mm long objective tube is 47mm in diameter. The weight including the carrying strap is 401g.
