Swarovski "Habicht" 8x30

Objektivfokussierung Das "Habicht" 8x30 Monokular von Swarovski Optik hat eine blaue Vergütung und eine Rauhlackummantelung um das Aluminiumgehäuse mit einfach verschraubten schwarz lackierten Deckeln. Neben den typischen Merkmalen eines Nachkriegs-Porro-1-Monokulars weist es vor allem eine Fokussierung am Objektiv auf. Die Justierungsskala ist mit der Entfernungseinstellung von 8m bis unendlich gekennzeichnet. Möglicherweise war das Glas daher auch für die Benutzung als Teleobjektiv für Kameras gedacht. Der obere Deckel ist mit der Modellbezeichnung "Habicht" und den Werten "8x30" sowie der Nummer 831521, der untere Deckel mit dem Firmennamen "Swarowski Optik Tirol" beschriftet – beides in einme sechseckigem Prismenlogo.

Besides the typical features of post-war porro I prism monoculars this glass has a objective focussing. The distance scale is marked from 8m to infinity. So the glass was probably intented for cameras use as a telephoto lens. The top cover is marked with "Habicht" and its specifications as well as number 831521. The bottom cover ist marked with the maker's name "Swarowski Optik Tirol". Both inscriptions are set into a six sided prism logo.

Das 8x30 ist 12,1 bis 12,6cm lang, und oben am Gehäuse 49x49mm, unten am Gehäuse 54x54mm breit; das feststehende linksseitige Okular mit einer Plastikaugenmuschel misst 34mm und der Objektivring 42mm (der Tubus selbst 37mm) im Durchmesser. Das Gewicht ist 223g.
