Steinheil 6x30 FotomonokularDas Steinheil 6x30 kann als Monokular oder als Teleobjektiv genutzt werden. Schraubt man die Plastikaugenmuschel ab, erhält man ein 30mm Innengewinde, schraubt man den davor liegenden geriffelten Metallring ab, steht ein 35,5mm Außengewinde zum Anbringen an ein Kameraobjektiv zur Verfügung. An das 35mm Gewinde lässt sich ein Adapter (beschriftet "997") schrauben, der für einen Bajonettverschluss hat. Die Ringe und Augenmuschel lassen sich im Innendeckel des Lederköchers in einer Klappe mit Druckknopfverschluss verstauen. Als Besonderheit lässt sich die Geradführung der Okularfokussierung nennen, die es vor allem den Gebrauch als Fotomonokular erleichtert. Dementsprechend wurde die Dioptrienskala (+/-5 ohne Beschriftung) oberhalb des Fokussierungsrings angebracht. |
Steinheil 6x30 Telephoto-lens MonocularThe steinheil 6x30 can be used as a monocular or a telephoto-lens. When you unscrew the eye-cup, you have a 30mm inline thread, when you unscrew the milled ring next ot it, you can attach a camera at a 35.5mm thread. You can also screw an adapter ring with a bayonett to this thread. All these rings or adapters can be stored in a flap at the inside of the case lid. A special feature is the linear movement of the ocualr's focussing. This makes it easier to use it attached to a camera. Thus the dioptre scale (+7- 5, no numbers) was positioned above the focussing ring. |

Der Objektivtubus ist 41mm im Durchmesser und das Okular ca. 37mm. Die Optik ist blau vergütet. Der obere Prismengehäusedeckel ist mit "6x30 58365 Made in Germany" beschriftet, der untere Deckel trägt den Firmennamen "Steinheil Optik". Beide Deckel sind unverschraubt angebracht. |

The objective lens frame is 41mm in diameter, the ocular about 37mm. Optics are coated blue. The top body cover is marked "6x30 58365 Made in Germany", while the bottom ocver is marked with the producer'S name "Steinheil Optik". Both coveres are held in place without screws. |
