Steiner 24x80

Das Steiner Spektiv 24x80 wurde ca. in den 1980-90er Jahren hergestellt. Es ist mit grünen Gummi stoßgeschützt und am Okularende schwarz lackiert. Es gibt einen angeschraubten Stativadapter mit zwei Standardgewinden. Die Optik ist blau-violet vergütet. Welches Prismensysem verbaut ist, ist unbekannt - vermutlcih ein geradsichtiges Dackkantsystem. Der Tubus mit Weichgummiaugenmuschel lässt sich nach Lösen einer Schraube in zwei Positionen arretieren, für Normalgebrauch und herutnergeschoben für Brillenträger bzw. bei Nutzung mit einem Kameraadapterrings, welcher bei umgestülpter Augenmuschel auf das Okular gesteckt werden kann. Die Fokussierung geschieht mittels eins Drehknopfes am Tubusdeckel und hat einen Einstellbereich von 10m bis unendlich. Derartig wird im Inneren das PRsimensystem verschoben. Der Okular-seitige Deckel trägt das Firnmenlogo und die optischen Angaben; der Stativadapter ist seitlich mit "Made in Germany" beschriftet und der Seriennummer, hier 02534, graviert.

The Steiner Spotting Scope 24x80 was made in the 1980s - 1990s . It is protected with a green rubber armouring and lacquered black on the eyepiece end. There is a screwed-on tripod mount with two standard threads. The optics are coated blue-violet. The prism system used is not known to me. Probably it is a straigt roof prism system. The eyepiece tube with its soft rubber eyecup can be locked in two positioned when a little screw is loosend or fixed. One position for normal use, the other for spectacle weares or when the spotter is connected to a camera with a adapter ring. The latter can be pushed onto the eyepiece when the eyecup is folded down. Focusing is done by turning a wheel on the tube cover plate. It has a adjustment range from 10m to infinity. So the prism system is moved isnide the barrel. The cover plate bears the company's logo and the optical data. The tripod mount is marked "Made in Germany" and the serial number on its side - here it is number 02534.

Das Spektiv wiegt 1284g. Es ist 39 bzw. 39,5cm lang.Die Augenmuschel ist 37mm, der Okulartubus 29mm, der Fokussierungsdrehknopf 23mm, der Haupttubus 72-75mm und die Objektivfassung 93mm im Durchmesser. Der Stativadapter ist 109mm lang.
