S.R.P.I. Puteaux 6x24
| Das 6x24 "Starlight" Modell von SRPI Puteaux (Société de Recherches et de Perfectionnements Industriels) ist ein Porro-2-Prismen-Monokular mit einem Raulack ummantelten Gehäuse in einem Guss für Prismengehäuse und Objektivtubus. In dieser Bauweise ist es ähnlich dem frühen Goerz-Pernox-Modellen oder der so genannten Bausch & Lomb-Form. Wie bei anderen Modellen kann die runde Deckelplatte mit befestigtem Prismensystem nach Abschrauben eines Überwurfrings, Entfernen je eines Abstands- und Dichtungsringes und Lösen seitlicher Madenschrauben aus dem Gehäuse genommen werden. Die Prismen sind auf einem Prismenstuhl befestigt (s. Foto). Das Okularstück und der Überwurfring sind aus Messing. Das Gehäuse hat eine rechteckige Vertiefung, über die ein Metallstreifen geschraubt ist, so dass dies eine Trageriemenöse ergibt. Der Metallstreifen fehlt beim vorliegenden Modell, ebenso die Abdeckhülse des Objektivs (vgl. dazu ein intaktes Exemplar im Foto von B. Pietrini). Das Okular hat eine Kunststoffaugenmuschel, der x-geriffelte Drehring hat keine Fokussierungsfunktion und es gibt auch keine Dioptrienskala. Das "Starlight" ist somit ein Fixfokus-Modell. Die Optik ist blau vergütet. Der ebenfalls rau lackierte Deckel ist mit dem Firmenlogo und -namen, den optischen Werten und Modellnamen beschriftet. |
The "Starlight" 6x24 model by SRPI Puteaux (Société de Recherches et de Perfectionnements Industriels) is a Porro II prism monocular with a crinkle paint covering. The prism housing and objective tube is cast in one piece. This design resembles the early Goerz Pernox models and the so-called Bausch & Lomb shape. Like with other models the cover disc with the attached prism system can be pulled out after unscrewing a retainer ring and detaching a distance and a sealing ring as well as loosening three scrub screws. The prisms are mounted on a prism chair (cf. photo). The eyepiece and the retainer ring are made of brass. The body has a rectangular recessing which normally is bridged by a small metal plate, thus building a strap lug. The metal plate is missing on the model shown here. The objective frame is missing too (cf. the intact specimen in the photo by B. Pietrini). The eyepiece comes with a plastic eyecup, the x-knurled ring does rotate but has no adjustment function. There is no dioptre scale either. Hence, the "Starlight" is a fix-focus model. The optics are coated blue. The crinkle paint lacquered cover is marked with the company logo and name, the optical data and its model name. |
