Société d'Optique 12x60

Das 12x60 Teleskop der Société d'Optique hat eine Schwalbenschwanzmontierung, einen ausziehbare Sonnenblende und ein Kimme-und-Korn-Visier. Das Korn lässt sich umklappen. Es ähnelt sehr dem Carl Zeiss 15x60 und könnte ebenso zur Zeit vor und um den 1. Weltkrieg von der französischen Armee als Beobachtungsfernrohr für Signalgeräte oder ähnliches genutzt worden sein. Das Okular ist mit einer Strichplatte mit Skala von 0-30 links und rechts von der Mitte aus versehen und ließ sich mit einem Ring drehen. Das Okular hat eine Dioptrienskala. Offensichtlich wurde versucht, am Okular sowie Objektiv Reparaturen vorzunehmen, wobei das Strichplattenglas beschädigt wurde. Diese hat ein Skala von links nach rechts von 60 über 0 bis 60. Der dreifach verschraubte Deckel ist mit "STE D'OPTIQUE PARIS 12x No 102" beschriftet.

The 12x60 telescope by the Société d'Optique has a dove-tail mounting, an extendable sunshade and notch and bead sight. The bead can be folded down. The scope resembles much the Carl Zeiss 15x60 and at that time about WWI could also be used as an observation telescope with signalling apparatuses or a similar instrument by the French Army. The eyepiece comes with a reticle being marked from zero to 30 to the left and right. It once could be rotated with a ring on the eyepiece. The ocular has a diopte scale. Obviously someone tried to repair the eyepiece and the objective at some time which led to a crack in the reticle glass. This ghas a scale line from left to right ranging from 60 over 0 to 60. The top cover of the housing is inscribed "STE D'OPTIQUE PARIS 12x No 102".

Das 12x60 ist 37cm ohne, 42cm mit Sonnenblende lang. Der konische Tubus verbreitert sich von 37mm auf 65mm, die gerade Objektivfassung ist 75mm und die Sonnenblende 78mm im Durchmesser. Das 39mm lange Prismengehäuse misst 75mm im durchmesser. Das Okularstück und die Augenmuschel sind 39mm, der geriffelte Ring 36mm im Durchmesser. Das Teleskop wiegt 1517g ohne Objektivschutzdeckel.
