Selsi 16x50

Das vorliegende Selsi Porro-1-Prismen-Monokular hat ein recht hohe Vergrößerung von 16fach und ist daher für ein ruhigeres Halten mit einem eingegossenen Stativgewindeadapter ausgestattet. Das linksseitige Okular hat oben am Fokussierungsring und am Ende des konischen Objektivtubuses einen blanken silber-farbigen Zierring. Die Optik ist vergütet und weist den typisch gelb-orangen Schimmer auf, welcher auf dem einfach verschraubten oberen Deckel als "AMBER COATED" bezeichnet wird. Darüber hinaus gibt es die Kennzeichnung mit dem Selsi-Schriftzug, den optischen Daten 16x50 sowie dem Sehfeld von 3,5°. Der untere Deckel ist mit einem K im Kreis und "Japan" markiert, also Nachweis einer Fertigung in Japan durch eine Firma mit Buchstaben K am Anfang des Namens. Das Aluminiumgehäuse hat eine Hartgummiummantelung und eingegossene Trageriemenöse. Die anderen Metallteile sind schwarz lackiert. Die Augenmuschel ist aus Kunststoff. Die Dioptrienskala reicht von plus bis minus Vier.

The bottom cover is marked K within a circle and "Japan", the latter as a proof of a production in Japan by some company starting with a K in its name. Both cover plates have only one screw. The aluminium body is covered with Ebonite and has a cast-in strap-lug. The other metal parts are lacquered black. The eyecup is made of plastic. The dioptre scale ranges from plus to minus four.

Die Stativgewindescheibe ist 22mm, der Okulartubus 31mm, der Fokussierungsring 36,5mm und die Augenmsuchel 33,5mm im Durchmesser. Das Monokular wiegt 455g.

The 16x50 is 166-176mm long. The housing measures 61x63mm at its top, and 71x73mm at its bottom. The objective tube is 51mm long and increases from 51 to 62mm in diameter. The tripod adapter is 22mm, the eyepiece 31mm, the focusing ring 36.5mm, and the eyecup 33.5mm in diameter. The monocular weighs 455g.
