Select "Night Vision" 7x50

Das mit dem Marken- und Modellnamen "Select Night Vision" 7x50 Monokualr ist ein klassishces Porro-1-Prismenmonokular aus japanischer Fertigung. Es scheint derzeit - Stand 2018 - in Japan erhätlich, aber nicht für den internationalen Markt gedacht zu sein. Für die Aktualität spricht neben der Beschriftung mit dem Sehfeld "Field 6°" auf dem leicht gewölbten oberen Deckel die Kennzeichnung als "Bak 4 Prism"; Beleg für eine Nichtexport-Artikel mag der Aufkleber des Japanischen Telescope Inspection Institute nur in Japanischen Schriftzeichen sein. Der untere Deckel ist mit einem Logo sowie der Nummer "305F 6966" gekennzeichnet. Die Augenmuchel ist aus umstülpbaren Weichgummi, der Fokussierungteil und der Diotrienring mit einer +/-3 Skala sind aus Plastik. Ebenso der Objektivtubus und -fassung. Die Aluminiumdeckel sind schwarz lackiert und einfach verschraubt, das Gehäuse ist mit einem hellen Wildleder ummantelt und hat eine Tragriemenöse sowie ein Stativgewinde. Die Optik ist blau vergütet. Die Bezeichnung "Night Vision" wurde wohl aufgrund des großen Objektivdurchmessers verwendet, um auf die hohe Lichtstärke zu verweisen.

Besides this, the top cover is inscribed with "Field 6°" on its slightly bended top cover. The control sticker of the Japan Telescope Inspection Institute is written only with Japanese signs, thus hinting at a domestic market article. The lower cover is marked with a logo and number "305F 6966". The eyecip is made of foldable soft rubber, the focusing part and the dioptre ring are made of plastic. The dioptre scale ranges from + to - 3. The objective tube and frame are also made of plastic. The aluminium cover plates are painted black and are fixed with one screw. The body is covered with a bright suede. It has a strap-kug as well as a tripod adapter. The optics are coated blue. The denotation "NightVision" was probably chosen to hint at the rather wide aperture allowing a higher brightness.
