2.3 Scharf stellen

Nicht jeder Benutzer mit Sehbehinderung kann von Beginn an sein Monokular präzise scharf stellen. Oft hat der "Schüler" keine genaue Vorstellung, was 'scharf' meint. Um dies zu üben und als Trainer sicher zu stellen, dass der Übende dies kann, ist Folgendes denkbar.

  1. Lassen Sie ein Bild auf einer Folien mit einem Tageslichtprojektor scharf stellen (Kontrolle es Übenden durch Herangehen an projiziertes Bild möglich).
  2. Lassen Sie ein Monokular mit Lupenvorsatz auf einer Standhalterung auf ein Objekt wie Briefmarke oder Münze nahfokussieren und sich Erkanntes erklären bzw. vorlesen.
  3. Lassen Sie den Übenden Gegenstände in verschienden Entfernungen erkennen oder Fokussieren Sie das Monokular vor und lassen den Übenden den richtigen Sehabstand suchen.

2.3 Focusing

Not every low vision user can focus a monocular precisely from the beginning. The student often misses a concept of what 'focused' means. To train this concept and to make sure , the user can focus correctly, the following exercises can be done.

  1. Take a transparency with a picture, and let it being focused with an OHP by the student. The student can cotrol him-/herself by approaching the projected image and watching it from a near distance..
  2. Take a monocular with a close-up lens and an acryl stand, and let the student focus at a coin or stamp. You can control it when the student explains or reads what he can see.
  3. Let the student focus on an object in different distances, or you can pre-focus the monocular and the student must find the right, i.e. clear observing distance.
