Optiker Blümel 6x30

Dieses mit "Optiker Blümel Leipzig" gekennzeichnete 6x30 Monokular wurde eindeutig von Spindler & Hoyer hergestellt. Dies lässt sich am Schriftzug erkennen, der identisch zum S&H eigenen gestaltet ist, sowie an der in die Trageöse gestanzte Seriennummer 75010, eine Stelle, wo sie nur von S&H angebracht wurde. Die Bauweise entspricht anderen Porro-1-Monokularen aus der Zeit um 1930. Das Gehäuse misst oben 45x45mm und unten 51x51mm. Die Objektivfassung ist 34mm, das Okular 23,5mm, der Fokussierungsring 27mm und die evtl. nicht mehr originale Augenmuschel 34mm im Durchmesser. Das 6x30 wiegt 240g.

This 6x30 monocular marked "Optiker Blümel Leipzig" was certainly made by Spindler & Hoyer. An obvious sign for this is the company's inscription which is designed identically to the S&H's own one. Moreover, the strap lug is stamped with the serial number 75010, hence being at a position where only S&H put their serial numbers. The construction is the same as other 1930s contemporary porro 1 models were. The housing measures 45x45mm at its top and 51x51mm at its bottom. The objective frame is 34mm, the eyepiece 23.5mm, the focusing ring 27mm, and the probably not original eyecup is 34mm in diameter. The 6x30 weighs 240g.
