Because of its regional origin and where it was sold (surroundings of Göttingen, Germany), it is likely that is was made in a Spindler & Hoyer workshop (furhtermore, probably at Zeiss-Winkel). The parts were turned from solid aluminium (?). The eyepice and the objective frame are partly polished and painted black, the tube and housing are lacquered with a grained finish. The eyecup is made of plastic. The round prism housing comes with porro 2 prisms and has a rectangulare base with a tripod thread on one side.
