Spindler & Hoyer 10x50 "Mozo"

Das 10x50-Modell "Mozo" von Spindler & Hoyer (s. oberer Deckel) hat vergütete Linsen und sollte daher aus der Zeit nach dem 2. Weltkrieg stammen. Die Seriennummer am unteren Deckel lautet 292671. Beide Deckel sind einfach verschraubt und - wie üblich - schwarz lackiert. Die Augenmuschel ist aus Kunststoff, wie auch die strukturierte Gehäuseummantelung. Ein schwarzer Lederriemen ist vorhanden. Die Dioptrienskala reicht von +3 bis -4 mit einer Stricheinteilung von 0,5 dpt und Ziffern +2, 0 und -3.

The 10x50 model "Mozo" by Spindler & Hoyer (s. markings top cover plate) has coated lenses. Thus it should be a post-war model. The serail number at the bottom cover plate is 292671. Both cover plates have pne screw, and are painted black as usual. The eyecup is made of plastic, such as the textured covering for the housing. a black leather strap is attached to the lug. The dioptre scale ranges from +3 to -4, having a line division of 0.5 dpt. Markings are +2, 0 and -3.

Das Mozo wiegt 428g, ist zwischen 17,7 und 18,4 cm lang, wobei das Prismengehäuse 8,5cm und der konische Obejktivtubus 5,5cm misst. Das linksseitige Okular ist 29mm im Durchmesser, die Augenmuschel 31mm. Das Gehäuse ist oben 59x59mm breit und unten 70x70mm. Der Objektivtubus verbreitert sich von 50mm auf 59mm.

The Mozo weighs 428g. Its length is 177-184mm, the housing being 85mm, and the conical objective tube being 55mm. The left-hand sided ocualr is 29mm, the eyecup 31mm in diameter; the objective tube increases from 50nn to 59mm. The housing measures 59x59mm at its top and 70x70mm at tis bottom.
