Telescope A.F.V. No.1 Mk1

Dieses 6x30 Monokular (ggf. Objektivdurchmesser nur 29mm) wurde für die Britische Armee von Ross und anderen Britischen Firmen gebaut. Es ist eine Fixfokus Optik, die als Zusatz an Periskopspeigeln in gepanzerten Fahrzeugen (armoured vehicles) benutzt wurde (s. Foto). Die Bezeichnung am oberen Deckel und seitlich am Gehäuse ist "Telescope A.F.V. No.I MKI"; zusätzlich gibt es die Kennzeichnung "F.V. 158378" und an der Seite das Ross London Linsenlogo. Die Optik hat Montagefüße, eine große Weichgummiaugenmuschel und vergütete Linsen und Porro-1-Prismen. Das Monokular wiegt 307g. Es ist ca. 98mm lang, oben am Gehäuse 56x56mm und unten 60x60mm breit. Die Objektivabdeckung ist 42mm, das Okularstück 34mm und die Augenmuschel 52-74mm im Durchmesser.

Tgis 6x30 monocular (rather a 29mm objective) was made by Ross Ltd. and other British maekrs for the British Army. It is a fix focus sight which can be attached to periscopic mirrors in armoured vehicles (armoured fightiung vehicles; see photo). The markings on the top cover and on the side are "Telescope A.F.V. No.I MKI"; moreover, there is a "F.V. 158378" inscription and the Ross lens logo on the side. The sight has mounting feet, a large soft rubber eyecup, coated optics and a porro 1 prism system. The monocualr weighs 307g. It is about 98mm long, measures 56x56mm a the top of the housing, and 60x60mm at its bottom. The objective frame is 42mm, the eyepiece 34mm, and the eyecup 52-74mm in diameter.
