Ross x6 / Power=6

Das Ross 6x30 mit der Bezeichnung "x6", was für ein Herstellungsdatum vor oder um den 1. WK spricht, sowie mit der Seriennummer 63642 ist aus schwarz lackiertem Messing mit einer Raulackummantelung gefertigt. Es hat eine dunkelbraune Augenmuschel und einen Dioptrienausgleich von + bis - 5 am linksseitigen Okularstück. Der obere vierfach verschraubte Deckel weist einen Schlitz für den Trageriemen an der überstehenden Kante auf.

The Ross 6x30 marked "x6" – denoting a production date before or around WWI – and marked with S/N 63642 is made of black painted brass with a rough crinkle paint. It has a dark brown eyecup and a dioptre adjustment from + to - 5. The eyepiece is on the left of the top cover. The latter has four screws and a slot at the protruding cover rim to hold a strap.

Ein weiteres Ross 6x30 ist außer mit "Ross, London" und der Nummer 54685 nicht gekennzeichnet. Die Messingdeckel sind blank poliert und das Gehäuse hat einen hellbraunen Strukturlack. Das Gewicht ist 299g. Es ähnelt auch dem folgenden 6x30.
