Ross 12x30
| Das 12x30 Monokular stammt aus der 1920-30er Jahre Produktionsreihe von Ross in London. Es hat schwarz lackierte Messingdeckel, die vierfach verschraubt sind. Der obere Deckel ist mit "ROSS, LONDON x12 No 61207" beschriftet. Der Deckelrand steht an einer Seite über, um die Trageriemenöse zu bilden. Das Gehäuse ist mit strukturiertem Vulkanit überzogen. Das linksseitige Okular hat eine umlaufende Dioptrienskala und eine Kunststoffaugenmuschel. Mit 317g ist es relativ schwer. Das Glas ist 112-118mm lang, das Gehäuse oben 52x54mm und unten 68x69mm breit. Die Objektivfassung ist 39mm, das Okular 26mm, der Fokussieruhngsteil 30mm und die Augenmuschel 33,5mm im Durchmesser. | This 12x30 monocular dates from the 1920-30s production by Ross in London. It has black lacquered brass covers which have four screws. The top cover is marked "ROSS, LONDON x12 No 61207". The cover plate rim protrudes over the housing thus building a strap lug. The housing is covered with textured ebonite. The left-hand sided eyepiece has a full dioptre scale and an plastic eyecup. Weighing 317g the glass is rather heavy. It is 112-118mm long, the body measures 52x54mm at its top and 68x69mm at its bottom. The obejctive frame is 39mm, the eyepiece 26mm, the focusing part 30mm, and the eyecup 33.5mm in diameter. |
