Refrax 6x
| Dieses kleine 6x16 Monokular hat den Modellnamen "Refrax" und ist lediglich mit "6x" gekennzeichnet und unvergütet. Die schwarz lackierten Messingdeckel sind ohne Schrauben, das Hartgummi-überuogene Gehäuse ohne Trageriemenöse. Die 3/3 Augenmuschel hat eine Dioptrieneinteilung von plus bis minus Vier. Die ovale Null ist beim Durchsehen bzw. Halten korrekt stehend. Am oberen Gehäuserand ist an einer Seite eine Schraube, evtl. zum Justieren der Prismen innen. Das Monokular hat einen kleinen konischen Objektivtubus. Mir ist nicht bekannt, welche Firma das Refrax gefertigt hat, seine Bauform mit dem konischen Tubus erinenrt jedoch an das Oigee "Oigelet 6x" Opernglas. Das Refrax ist baugleich zum "Lemiere 5x16". | This little 6x16 monocular is labeled "Refrax" and only marked "6x". It is uncoated. The black lacquered brass covers have no screws, the Ebonite covered body has no strap lug. The 3/3 eyecup comes with a +/-4 dioptre scale. the oval zero can be read correctly when holding the glass for viewing. There is a screw near the top end of the hosuing on one side. This is probably meant for adjusting the prism inside. The monocular has a small conical objective tube. I do not know which maker built this "Refrax". Its design resembles the Oigee "oigelet 6x" opera glass, though. The Refrax has the same design like the "Lemiere 5x16". |

It is 83-85mm long. The hosuing measures 36x36mm, the obejctive tube increases from 19mm to 21mm in diameter. The left-hand sided eyepiece is 17mm, the dioptre part 21mm, and the eyecup 27mm in diameter. |
