Redfield 8x24-18

Von der US-Firma Redfield (Sportschützen und Jagdausrüstung) wurde dieses Schmidt-Pechan-Prismen-Monokular vertrieben. Es wurde in Japan - Logo Oval mit "TL" und gelber "PASSED"-Aufkleber des JTII - gefertigt und wurde mit einer strukturierten roten Gummiummantelung versehen. Als Besonderheit kann das rechteckig/ovale Objektiv mit den Maßen 24mm und 18mm an den breitesten Stellen gelten (vgl. Minox 6x16 - 8x16). Das Okularteil hat ein im Gehäuse versenktes Fokussierungsrad, das das Okularsystem vor und zurück bewegt. Das Gehäuse ist aus Kunststoff, hat eine Trageriemenöse und ist am Objektivende mit "Redfield 8x24-18 Widefield" beschriftet. Es ist 87x23x31mm groß und wiegt 55g.

The eyepiece has a focusing wheel recessed into the body. It moves the ocular lens system back and forth. The body is made of plastic with a strap lug. It is marked "Redfield 8x24-18 Widefield". The monocular measures 87x23x31mm and weighs 55g.
