Dies ist ein relativ typisches japanisches Spektiv aus den 1960-70er Jahren gefertigt aus Aluminium mit einer grau-grünlichen Lackierung. Es hat ein Porro-1-Prismensystem mit bläulicher Vergütung. Das Okular ist komplett aus Metall mit einem breiten Zoomeinstellungsteil und mit Strichen zur Vergrößerungsangabe von 15, 20, 30, 40 und 50. Die Fokussierung geshcieht mittels eines schwarz silbernen gestreiften Rings zwischen konischem Objektivtubus und unterem Gehäusedeckel. Dort ist auch ein schwarz lackierter Zierring mit dem Aufkleber des Japanischen Telescope Inspection Institutes (silbern, Beschriftung abgerieben) und der Modellbezeichnung "RECORD COATED D=60mm No. 84974".

This is a spotting scope from the 1960s - 1970s in a typically Japanese construction. It is made of aluminium with a greenish-grey lacquering, has a porro 1 system and blue coating. The ocular is completely made of metal with a broad zoom adjustment part. There are reference lines for 15, 20, 30, 40, and 50 times magnification. A silver and black focusing ring is set between the housing and the conical tube as well as a black decoration ring which bears the label of the Japanese Telescope Inspection Institute (silver, letters worn off), and is marked "RECORD COATED D=60mm No. 84974".

Das Spektiv ist 42cm lang, der konische Objektivtubus macht davon 255mm aus, das Gehäuse ist 85mm und das Okularstück 80mm lang. Das Gehäuse misst oben 61x61mm und unten 69x69mm. Das Okular hat einen 29mm, der Beschriftungsring einen 48mm, der Fokussierungsring einen 55mm Durchmesser und der Tubus verbreitert sich von 50mm auf 72mm. Die Objektivlinse ist 38mm in den Tubus zurück versetzt, so dass eine Sonnenblende gebildet wird.

This spotting scope is 42cm in length. The conical objective tube is 255mm long, the housing is 85mm tall, and the eyepiece 80mm long. The housing measures 61x61mm at its top and 69x69mm at its bottom. The ocular has a 29mm, the labelling ring a 48mm, the focusing ring a 55mm diameter, and the tube increases from 50mm to 72mm. The objective lens is recessed by 38mm inti the tube, thus building a sunshade.
