Wray Panora 8x21

Dieser Turmon-Nachbau der Londoner Firma Wray (1850 bis 1971), vermutlich aus den 50er Jahren (s. Katalog) wurde auch mit einer kleinen Ledertasche geliefert.
Das Panora-Faltmonokular wiegt 100g und hat ansonsten gleiche bzw. ähnlich optische Werte wie das Turmon haben. Mir liegt jeweils ein Exemplar mit (S/N 141723 verblichene gelbliche Schrift), eines ohne (S/N 198309 weiße Schrift) Dioptrienskala vor. Das Okularstück ist je nach Justierung 2,5-3cm lang; 70x23x48 (vgl. a. Dollond Parvo 8x21. Die dioptrieneinteilung reicht von + bis - 25.

This reproduction of the Zeiss Turmon was made by the London firm Wray (exists 1850 to 1971), and date from the 1950s (see catalogue). It comes with a small leather case.
The "Panora" folding monocular weighs 100g and specifications are the same or similar to the Turmon. I have one specimen with S/N 141723, fainted yellow letter and a dioptre scale, a second model with white markings, S/N 198309 and no dioptre scale. (also cf. Dollond Parvo 8x21. The dioptre divisions range from + to - 25.
