Optolyth 8x22

Das Optolyth 8x22 ist ein Schmidt-Pechan-Prismen-Monokular in zylindrischer Form. Das Kunststoff- und Metallgehäuse ist mit Rauhlack ummantelt und hat eine kleine Beschriftungsplatte aus Blech. Die Dioptrienskala am oberen Rand des Tubuses ist von plus bis minus 5 gekennzeichnet, aber nur mit „0“, „+“ und „-“ markiert. Es gibt einen geriffelten Fokussierungsring, der das Okularlinsensystem innen verschiebt ohne dass sich die Weichgummiaugenmuschel mit dreht. Die Okularlinse ist lila, die Objektivlinse grün vergütet. Das 8x22 ist 97mm lang, 28mm im Durchmesser und wiegt 70g mit dem Trageband.

The Optolyth 8x22 is a Schmidt-Pechan prism monocular in cylindrical shape. The plastic and metal housing is coverd with some rough paint, and has a tiny tin labelling plate. The dioptre scale on the top rim of the tube is marked from plus to minus 5, but only inscribed at "0", "+" and "-". There is a milled focusing ring, which moves the ocular lens system inside without turning the soft rubber eyecup. The ocular lens is coated lilac, the objective lens is coated green. The 8x22 is 97mm long, 28mm in diameter, and weighs 70g with its strap.
