Oigee 6x24 "Monsex"

Das Monokular "Monsex" mit Seriennummer "104150" (s. unterer Deckel) und den gemessenen Werten 6x24 stammt von der Firma "Optische Industrie Gesellschaft Berlin" (= Oigee, s. oberer Deckel). Die Aluminiumdeckel sind schwarz lackiert, der obere dreifach,d er untere zweifach verschraubt. Das Gehäuse hat eine Rauhlackummantelung. Die Augenmuschel ist aus Bakelit. Die am linksseitigen Okular umlaufende Dioptrienskala ist bei 0, +5 und -5 markiert. Schätzungsweise wurde das Monokular zwischen den Weltkriegen hergestellt.

The "Monsex" monocular with serial number 104150 (s. lower cover plate) and with measured specifications of 6x24 was made by "Optische Industrie Gesellschaft Berlin" (= Oigee, s. upper cover plate). The aluminium covers are painted black, the lower one having two, the upper one having three screws. The housing has a rough paint covering. The eyecup is made of Bakelite. The dioptre scale running around the left-hand sided ocular is marked at 0, +5 and -5. Approxiamte date of production is between the World Wars.

Das Oigee 6x23 ist zwischen 98 und 104mm lang, misst am Gehäuse oben 45x45mm und unten 47x50mm. Der Durchmesser der Augenmuschel ist 35mm, der des geriffelten Fokussierungsrings 25mm und der der Okularhülse 20mm. Der Objektivtubus ist 30,5mm im Durchmesser. Das Glas wiegt mit Riemen 227g.

The Oigee6x23 measures between 98 and 104mm in length, 45x45mm at the top of the hlsuing and 47x50mm at its bottom. The diameter of the eyecup is 35mm, the one of the knurled focusing piece 25mm, and of the ocualr tube 20mm. The objective frame is 30.5mm in diameter. With its carrying strap the glas weighs 227g.
